Well, I just was arrested for my first DUI! “Yes on Ambien” I had taken some and forgot what I took and took more and before I knew it was driving down the road with my 4 yr old in the car! Apparently I was swerving and the cops were called and when the cop lights came on my 4 yr old wanted to see the cop lights and got out of her car seat! Well when the cop came to my window she was out of her car seat! Luckily my husband came and was able to get her. Now I face DUI charges along with child endangerment charges! I am so scared, I never want to see another Ambien in my lifetime!! Its like waking up from a bad nightmare! Please think before you take it because I am your average mom and now I face having a record!

Hello Everyone!
My name is Brittney! My father took his life after being on Ambien for a few days. He had no history of mental illness or depression and was one of the most upbeat, full of life, life of the party, prankster type goofballs that LOVED his family! It was so out of character, and and I have since met numerous other families with the same-exact story!
If you have lost a family member or loved one while they were taken Ambien, or have experienced adverse side-effects but were fortunate enough to live and tell about it and would like to join myself and other familes to help others. For those of you that love Ambien and have had no adverse effects, I am so happy and I hope that you never have to experience any of the negative effects that other families have. I do realize that Ambien works wonderfully for many people and I am not trying to get it taken off the market. My purpose is to inform those that may experience the adverse effects and be knowledgable enough to seek the proper help if their body does not agree with the drug. God Bless you All!

I took some….wrecked my car…dui charge…still pending…once I got home I realized that I had taken most of the prescription that evening and don’t recall doing so…I have no idea where or why I was driving..I’m probing for any kind of ground to stand on…I had no intention of driving -only sleeping.. Yet here I am…could have killed someone or myself easily…Help me out here….
