I’ve been taking Ambian for years but in the last year I find I have to take more than just 1 10mg. Some nights as many as 3. But have no and have had any symptoms of sleepwalking and hallucination. Only thing I do when I wake up in the middle of the night is take a 3rd ambian and sometimes will grab something to eat. It is a short term drug, longer term with luminesta but very ixpensive without insurance.

I have tried other sleep medications and they don’t work. In fact a few of them left me in a state of high anxiety.

BTW, I have stage 4 cancer and am approaching the last stage of it and must get a good nights sleep.

Those of you who have used the drug recreationally are idiots who have made it difficult to get for the rest of us.

My opinion of teenagers who us it is that you’re going through so many harmonal changes and the combination of that with hypnol sleeping aids.

Those of you who are suicidal, I have no sympathy for you, you’re using ambian as a mechanism for denial that you have an undiagnosed mental/emotional/chemical condition.

BTW I don’t want pity for where I am now, I’m in the 1% of !% group that has made it for more than 2 years with chemo treatment.

I ask God why, and it hit me that it is God’s grace in that I have been given the opportunity for redemption for a life lived with lots of sin. My philosophy on life has become we are born we are given lots of opportunity to sin/break rules/miss the mark, and then are job in life is to look and work through a redemption process. Do keep in mind that St. Paul said ‘where sin abounds grace abounds’. Do not be an emotional coward because life is difficult. It can be very difficult…deal with it that’s what you’re here for.

I don’t know about anyone’s religous or spiritual beliefs. I have of late returned to a version of the Russian/Eastern Orthodox church because I love the Eucharist. So if you have a soul, hopefully you do as I sometiimes doubt that all humans are pocessed with one. Look for it, find it, nourish it by finding the the Grace of God that’s there…..with some work……for the taking. All you have to do is look, ask, and be prepared for the process…a rather painful one of self-evaluation that it will take you….through.

Lastely, I’ve been through drug addiction, alcohol addiction. because, yes it was fun, but I did make idiotic decissions that took me down paths that I wouldn’t wish on anybody.
