I am sorry to see another naive opinion about the potential severe side effects of this drug. I am also sorry that you, the author of this post, feel the need to judge the mental state of the woman and the son, not personally knowing them, and based off of the limited information that you have.
If you have abused Ambien you know that you will hallucinate and it could be fun. You also know that there is potential for a bad trip, causing horrible hallucinations. That said, I’m suprised you immediatley assume that these people have mental issues without knowing number one, if they were halucinating, and if they were tripping exactly what they were seeing. You have no idea what they could have been experiencing – during a bad trip they could have been ‘seeing’ someone who was encouraging them to follow through with these destructive actions (I assume you are familiar with a bad trip since you openly admit to abusing the drug in order to achieve some high).
With all that stated, I would encourage you to limit your assumptions on people’s mental state to those you know, and know well. I would also encourage you to stop abusing the drug because there could be a day when you are the person who experiences the bad trip.

I would say that I have not experienced any of the problems that have been posted, and I have taken the generic Zolpidem 10mg for more than year. I get at least 7 hours sleep and then wake up , rested..
