Ambien & OCD Symptoms

I have mixed emotion about Ambien. I take far to much but it relaxes me and sometimes my ocd symptoms disappear. I am a wreck without it and get paranoid. So instead of taking 4 or 5 a day I am weaning myself to 2 to 3 and eventually to one a night. The trouble is Ambien and Xanax are the only drugs that work for me. Abilfy, amd the other ssrs have been utter failures for me. Buspar by far was the least effective medication I have ever took. Ambien is a sedative and actually works unlike the other garbage I have taken. Stay away from abilify it is utterly uselesss!!!! You might as well eat chalk.

My doctor won’t give me any more ambien so I am ordering it from India.

Multiple Ambien Prescriptions

My husband has been addicted to Ambien for about eight years. This addiction has caused him to do things he would never do otherwise. Doctor shopping for as many as four prescriptions at a time, eating massive amounts of food at night and making a huge mess, knocking over dressers, falling down the stairs; and when he does get his prescription filled he takes up to 20 in a night if I do not take hide them from him! He has completely lost his ability to fall asleep on his own. When he did try to go off of ambien, he ended up in a psych ward for 72 hours. He threatened suicide several times and we had to remove all of our firearms from the house. It seems to me that a person who uses ambien, ends up abusing ambien. It’s sad to watch my husband’s downward spiral into insanity.

I was prescribed Ambien…Oh God….I have read some of these stories. I have drove cars, went to my mothers house to show her my cat (she gave me the cat). I went to my house from my Aunts late at night because I told my husband (at 3 in the morning ) he had a woman in the house. He told me I looked in the closet, and under the bed. I drove back too my Aunts. My cousin came home from school that next morning and noticed her moms car turned the opposite direction. She woke me up. I DID NOT REMEMBER DRIVING at all. I do not remember going to my house to accuse my husband of cheating. This drug is causing people to sleep walk and do off the wall things. Criminal or funny…Regaurdless it is very unsafe. I do not think anybody under this drug effects should be held accountable for their actions if they get in trouble. My Aunt left her children in my care not knowing the side effects….
